The Wedding Ringer Review

Two weeks shy of his wedding, a socially awkward guy enters into a charade by hiring the owner of a company that provides best men for grooms in need (IMDB)

Kevin Hart is one of the funniest comedians on the scene at the moment so if there is a movie out with him in it,I'm there!!!
Yes the story in The Wedding Ringer is predictable but what comedy isn't and I thought both Hart and Josh Gad (Olaf from Frozen) played off each other really well. It's a heartfelt comedy and due to some heart to heart moments in the movie we got to see a toned down Hart. He is always so fast and loud that it was nice to see this side to his acting in these scenes, although there is nothing wrong with him in full swing either lol.

I don't Know why, but Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting (Penny, The Big Bang Theory) really irritated me in this movie which is strange because I normally really like her. It's probably because she was the embodiment of every trait that irritates me in a fellow female and I am not used to seeing her in that kind of role.

Is The Wedding Ringer the best comedy I've seen of late? No, but it is very funny and I did enjoy it. I give it 3/5 and it's definitely worth going to see on the big screen.
